Do you want to take your education a step further than your online courses? Are you passionate about exploring real world problems and creating solutions? Are you seeking a mentor in your field to challenge and support you in your college career?
If any of these questions resonate with you, consider conducting research with faculty. Undergraduate researchers develop invaluable critical thinking, analytical and team skills that set them apart from non-researchers.
Fulton’s premier program that helps support undergraduate students in research is the Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI). You can pursue fields that have to do with your Fulton Engineering major, you can work under a faculty member with a project that interests you or you can try a research field that is completely new and different. FURI applications are due online by noon on March 1, 2017 for Summer 2017, Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters. Learn more and apply.
